Introduction
BibleCraft (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. This policy applies to the BibleCraft mobile application distributed on Google Play (the “App”).
1. Data we collect
1.1. Analytics (automatic)
We collect anonymous usage analytics to understand how people use the App (for example: screens visited, feature usage, session length). This helps us improve the App experience. Analytics data does not personally identify you.
1.2. Crash reporting (automatic)
We collect crash reports and diagnostic information (stack traces, device model, OS version) to detect and fix stability issues.
1.3. User data stored locally
Notes, highlights, and other content you create in the App are stored locally on your device unless you enable cloud sync. Local data remains on your device and is not shared by default.
1.4. Cloud sync (already integrated)
When you enable Cloud Sync, your user-generated content (notes, highlights, jotter, bookmarks, and app-specific settings) will be uploaded and stored securely on our servers to enable device-to-device syncing. Cloud sync is optional and requires your explicit consent to enable.
1.5. No Login Required
You can use the App without creating an account. Some sync features may optionally require authentication depending on chosen sync/back-end. (If you enable any account-based sync, the App will inform you and request the necessary permissions.)
1.6. Push notifications
Currently the App does not use push notifications.
1.7. Ads
The App does not display ads.
1.8. Payments & subscriptions
We use in-app purchases and subscriptions for Premium features. Payment processing is handled by the store (Google Play / RevenueCat as applicable). We do not store full payment card details. Any payment identifiers necessary to validate transactions may be used solely for license/receipt validation.
2. How we use the data
- Improve and maintain the App (analytics and crash reports).
- Provide Cloud Sync and restore user data between devices (when enabled).
- Validate in-app purchases and subscriptions (to unlock Premium features).
- Monitor and improve security and reliability of our services.
3. Sharing & third parties
Service providers: We may use third-party services for analytics, crash reporting (e.g., Firebase / Sentry / similar), cloud storage, and payments (RevenueCat / Google Play). These providers process data on our behalf under contract.
No ad networks: We do not share personal data with advertising networks because the App contains no ads.
Legal requests: We may disclose data in response to lawful requests (e.g., subpoenas) or to protect rights, safety or property.
4. Data retention
Crash and analytics data: retained in anonymized / aggregated form for as long as necessary to improve the product.
Cloud-synced user data: retained while your account or sync option remains active. You can request deletion (see “Your rights” below).
Local data: remains on your device until you delete it.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest (HTTPS/TLS, encryption at rest where applicable). While we strive to protect your data, no system is 100% secure — please avoid storing very sensitive information in the notes.
6. Your choices & rights
Turn off analytics: a future setting will let you opt out of non-essential analytics.
Disable Cloud Sync: you can disable sync at any time from the App settings; disabling will stop further uploads.
Delete data: to delete your cloud-synced data, go to the App settings → Cloud Sync → Delete account data (or contact support at admin@qatestcraft.com)
Data access: you may request a copy of your personal data or ask for corrections by contacting us at admin@qatestcraft.com
7. Children
Our App is not designed for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. When changes are significant, we will provide a prominent notice in the App and update the “Last updated” date.
